There are three basic types of bows used at our club (As seen above).
Compound
The compound bow can be shot as pictured or may be fitted with an array of sights, stabilizers and other fruit, thus changing the class the archer competes in.
Recurve
The recurve bow can also be shot as pictured or may be fitted with a similar array of sights, stabilizers and other fruit, changing the class the archer competes in.
Long Bow
This is the most traditional style of bow with a few different versions available from around the world including some quality bows made right here in South Australia. This bow is shot with the arrow sitting on a shelf cut into the bow.
